As much as I love my boating time with the family...... I’m not to sure I’d be ok without any season change. Nothing beats a colorful fall drive up our road and the first snow flakes to remind us of what’s to come.... snowmobiles!! Once we empty the account for snowmobiling and start the melt down it’s soon time to look forward the boat and start over!

I do miss the seasons especially this time of year. But, it was nice taking the kayak out fishing this weekend and getting some landscaping done. In Michigan, the damn winters are just so long. Once January 2nd hit I was counting down the days until boating season.

But I don’t worry about gators in my lake ..... :D

We had a 10 footer behind the house on thanksgiving. We were picking up some plants at the nursery on Sunday and there was one sun bathing by the pond.

That’s about 9’ too long for my taste ....

85 days till the boat can hit the water ...... just saying .........

I'l be updating the count periodically ...... :)
Keep the countdown coming for us SemperFi. About the same time frame here. Can’t wait for the new boat arrival.

We took the Airstream and the Bennington to Lake Livingston last weekend. Turned out to be a grey chilly weekend (mid-50's) until the last night there... when it cleared up and got colder.

We reconfirmed that our minimum conditions are 60 degrees, and at that it needs to be sunny and not much wind.

I did get this cool photo of the Airstream (we just love aluminum )
