Why Did I Buy Bennington

It is visible in his pics

If anyone is from the Pittsburgh area and looking for a dealer I would highly recommend Deep Creek Marina. They were excellent to deal with and really make you feel welcome.

Just for general reference

Deep Creek Marina is where I should of went

Unfortunately it is 147 miles from my home just a 3 hour drive

This is a class act dealership a world apart from mine !

Jack,

No I haven't written a review on their site.

I look at the surveys daily thinking about completing them as well.

I talked to Bennington's Vice President twice and both times he defended them as if they were his family

I think it is a waste of time really, they will just delete it

At least here Bennington sees that I am not being  mean spirited about this just presenting the facts.

I would like to warn others but I know they will delete.the information I would post.

There is no winning. I am very curious if Bennington will call me Monday

The VP knows I was taking delivery Friday.

Time will tell.

I will say this... a well meaning Forum Member accurately listed my Dealer on this FORUM

I have never used their Company Name or Owner's Name

I will tell everyone not to use The Bennington Dealer North of Pittsburgh near a well know State Park Lake

The experience was not just disappointing  but HELL !

My family and I are sitting here on a holiday with beautiful weather still upset with what took placed

I saw a review written by "Chuck" thought perhaps they wrote it ?

They most likely would delete it ,every thing on their site is 5 star .

I think you were more than fair with how you handled this on the forum given what you went through. It will be hard, but that stage is over, and using the boat is going to be awesome from here on out! You and your family need to decide in your minds at some point (maybe not just yet) that you are going to let it go, never talk about it again, and never think about it again. Open a new chapter or every time you go out you will think about it and be pissed. Turn the page...

Jack, It wouldn't surprise me if they are writing their own reviews using customer names

Kaydano thank you for your comment , I always try to conduct myself in a professional manner , they have made it difficult but I would never lower myself to their standards

On "Turn The Page" you are absolutely right and today was the first step in that process

I love the song Turn The Page" by Bob Seger excellent music

We spent the holiday on the beach with family this lake never ceases to amaze me

Here's a neighbor who flies a RC Plane routinely on the Lake in his pontoon

He also happens to be a commercial pilot

Next time you hear the song, insert "boat" whenever he says "road".

I have figured out how to tighten the mooring cover

No longer will I have to worry about water pooling

The more time I spend with Benny the better I get to know him

I do wish the lights on dash were a bit brighter

Need to learn how to use the Garmin as well

It is still in simulator mode

You know how it is ....

Haven't taken the time to read the manual on Garmin or Radio yet

Things take time

But as all have said the fun is just beginning  :)

The book that comes with the Garmin was helpful for me .

The Dealer called me today

Wanted to know if I registered the Boat ?

I replied not yet

He said good

There are some errors in the paper work

Give me 2 or 3 days to get things right !

OK

No follow up from Bennington 's VP

Look at it this way - it can only get better. Can't get worse. I've thought that about your story more than once though...

You will love this

The Ice Blue LED Lights which my family and I were so looking forward to

We were told first you can have them and wrote in sales agreement then when the boat came into dealer not before we can't get them

Well we saw a Bennington on Our lake with the LED Ice Blue Lights

Our Dealer said they look hideous

What we saw in front of our eyes we love

OH Well !

It is what it is

I am letting it go the best I can

It is difficult  :)

Get it all straightened out first, since your dealer may come through. Then let it go.

If it's on the sales agreement, you should have recourse. Are you talking LED side lights, the cup holders, or the speakers? Just curious as these things are not super difficult to add. (I get they should have been done if they were documented on the sales agreement, but you can still achieve the look)
