2016 22 SFX. Does anyone have a solution to repositioning the front winch eyelet to ease hookup when taking the boat out of the water/on to the trailer? The eyelet is about 3-4 feet behind the bow and require pretty adept acrobatics to hook up the winch strap to secure the boat to the trailer when taking it out of the water. I don't mind too much getting wet, if need be, but it seems some sort of "A" frame could be welded in to reduce the required reach?

Appreciate any solutions/links that you can provide.

Thanks.

When I had my 20’ Benny, that eye was mounted on the first beam back(about a foot back) with a flat strip of metal from that point to the next beam behind that one for support. If you have a true beam in front of where it’s located, I’d think you could move it to the first, with the added support brace between that and the second.
