Yamaha Rebate

It figures this arrives 4 days after I sign the paperwork on my new Bennington. 


4/29/16 is the warranty actually I action date, then the $500 pops up.

In all fairness, if they get rebate info like I do, we find out the day of OR AFTER of a rebate. If your dealer hooks you up, kudos to them, if they don't I can understand why. If it gets out that you got an exception for 4/29, then the customer on 4/28 wants it, then 4/27 ... etc.... 


Trust me, I deal with this on a daily basis with my company.

Yeah, I know how it works from the auto side.  I am (pretty) sure the dealer wasn't sitting on the knowledge of the rebate.  I was more commenting on how my "luck" tends to operate.


Maybe I can just cancel my deal and sign again this week.

Did you get the extended warranty which was the earlier promotion?

It wasn't mentioned.  The Yamaha app shows my "Standard Warranty" as 3 years.  Is that extended?


EDIT: It looks like that promotion ended in March.

Just for closure, dealer called and said there is nothing they can do.  Apparently Yamaha is strict and there is no leeway.
