Yamaha Reliance Prop Help

I recently purchased a Reliance prop on E bay and I tried to install it earlier today on my Yamaha outboard and the splines on the drive shaft were sticking out past the rear of the hub assembly. Is there a spacer I'm missing?

I would think a matched Yamaha motor and prop wouldn't need any accessories.

Check on your old prop to see if there is a spacer stuck to it.

I'm not an expert, but i think they all use a spacer.

That was it! That's what I thought initially but I tried to remove what I thought was the washer and it seemed as if it was part of the old prop. After your post went and put some more effort in and out in came. Thanks!!
