July 4th week, 2017. Almost had the lake to ourselves. Lake was created by TVA during WWII to power Alcoa Aluminum's mill in East Tennessee. Great Smoky Mountains National Park to the north, Natahala National Park to the south. Almost no development for 15 miles upstream.
