Do you have the Shoremaster lift with canopy? The company that is making our dock highly recommends Shoremaster, and of course is trying to sell us one. We want a lift with canopy, but are new to all of this. I'd be curious your thoughts and experience with Shoremaster if that is what you have. Thanks.
I bought a ShoreSTATION 5000lb hydraulic lift and canopy. I have a custom Sunbrella canopy cover.
The Shorestation is considered a premium lift You'll spend $12-15k installed for the Hydraulic (~$3k less for electric winch style), but IMO, worth every penny. Very Very well built. All stainless and brass hardware.
I looked at Shoremaster and they are considerably less expensive. Look at them both. There are obvious difference, but they may not matter to you if price is more important. They were to me in a 5K pound lift and I have no regrets.
