3 gallons in the starboard nose cone. You could hear it if you rocked the boat side to side on the trailer

I just got home from aluminum welding shop. We drained 3 gallons of water from the starboard nose cone area. Definitely not condensation. They pressure tested, but we didn’t know the plug at the top has about a 1/8” hole in the top of the plug for venting. Well it vented our air pressure . Next...

So that was a failed attempt - mostly. I was feeling good about it to. I was able to tie my shop vac into the vent for that section without any duct tape, but without an air gauge. Without the gauge, I was a little nervous but soaked it with soap and did not hear or see any hissing or bubbling...

Thanks, I bought all the parts today so that I think I can pressure test it and at least a 50/50 chance I can suck some/hopefully most of the water out with a shop vac. If it works, I’ll post a picture

It’s a 2018. And I’m not convinced they pressure tested the nose cone. Great idea on the video. I’ve seen that before, but my water is in the nose cone. The toons have separate compartments so a leak in the front doesn’t make it to the back.

I convinced myself last night that I need to find an aluminum welder and bring it to him. We'll drill a hole, drain all the water and actually see how much is/was in there, maybe pressure test it ourselves, and then weld it up.

We talked about that when I dropped it off at the dealer. But they say it passed the pressure test so there isn't a warranty issue. I'm just not sure they actually pressure tested it. Just sounds like more than a cup or 2 of water in the nose and condensation just isn't going to give you more...

It doesn’t seem out of balance at rest. It can’t be the fuel. It’s back port side. Swooshing is nose starboard.

A couple of weeks ago I was moving by trailer in my driveway and heard water swoosh in the nose cone area on starboard side. I thought I had noticed it running a tad slow and nose heavy. Not extreme, but due to some of the other boats I’ve had, I’d consider myself pretty in tune with that stuff...
