I believe I have confirmed that both front batteries are for the trolling motor. So I will leave one on for a backup battery and remove the other to hopefully make room for anchor storage. Thanks for all of the advice above.

The guy I am buying it from just bought it from another guy and has never used it. Just flipping it. The original owner moved away I think.

Thanks. The starting battery is right by the motor on the back. The other battery is way up in the front.

Thanks, I plan to try that. My question is... if the motor does not have power when the back battery is disconnected, but the other electronics have power, then I appear to have a house battery. Is it possible for this house battery to be charged from the motor, but not connected to crank it...
