I leave mine in the boat Unhook it and give a charge in the spring,I used to own a motor home with 3 battery's and tried taking out and keeping warm and leaving than in,didn't really seem to matter they still only lasted 4 to 5 years so I just leave in and buy a new one when needed

does Bennington offer an engine cover to match my mooring cover or can i buy or have some material to make my own??

You can take a panel like maybe a door off and bring to a local automotive paint supply company and have it scanned and they can match it, just a suggestion

I asked the dealer about that and they said my 40 horse yamaha does not have a big enough alternator for to batts.
