Bow gate seat & corner cooler

I like the bow gate seat a lot though when I'm underway I tend to move it to it's side position in front of the port side door. I like to have door access to the bow for anchoring and boat handling without having to climb over furniture, and I keep my anchor and line under the port bow corner...

The loss of my best friend

Good for you, Dave! And, so sorry to hear about your loss. My Skipper is passing 19 this year and though he's never been a boat cat, he was a camp cat for many seasons. Now a days, neither of us jumps very well so he stays home and tends to things here but I see it in the Vet's eyes when we talk...

    Speaking of Sharkhide ?

Something is smelling pretty fishy with that statement... And it's not the Sharkhide. ;) I knew it was time to start looking back in on this group. Spring is just around the corner.

    First Time on Lake Erie

Enjoy your off season. I put the boat and the Sea Doo up last weekend. We're closing camp a bit early this year so that the campground owner can do some heavy construction that will help in case of another high water event.

Flat ride on water VS. nose up tritoon ride

I'm glad you took it as it was meant. You enjoy that new boat of yours!!

Flat ride on water VS. nose up tritoon ride

I prefer the slightly bow proud look of the boats with larger motors. But if it really bothers you there is another method of adjusting boat trim that has been widely discussed here in the forums... ;) http://club.benningtonmarine.com/threads/new-boat-does-not-sit-level.9045/#post-119119

    Yamaha 115 Top Speed Experience

The boat that they tested not only had lifting strakes but it also sat on Bennington's elliptical pontoons. All the difference in the world.

    First Time on Lake Erie

You and I are enjoying the same water! Glad to see you here.

    Sharrow props

I laughed out loud when I received their first email with their early adopter pricing. I recognize the engineering value that goes into development of new concept technologies but it's not worth more than twice what I'd pay for a premium stainless prop to me. When they come significantly below...

    Seats on my 2015 benny

I'll have a look as soon as I can get to the boat. Probably not until the middle of April.

    Vantage pontoon protection

Jack, do you recall whether they were willing to sell you their product directly? Or did you have to involve one of their distributor/dealers? Montana, looking forward to hearing about your experience moving forward.

    Vantage pontoon protection

I'm sorry to say that I never received a reply to my email. I probably should have tried again but pushed it to a back burner at the time. I still think that they have an interesting product but there are still no dealers near me.

Prop Help Needed....2016 SSRX with Express Toon Package

I've been really satisfied with my Yamaha Reliance prop mated with my Yamaha F150 on the back of my 2275GCW with the elliptical sport package. It's smooth as silk at idle due to the SDS hub system and is truly a bolt on and play prop IF you have a Yamaha motor. I see just a touch over 40 on the...

Got to get up and personal with the new bowrider model at the boat show this week - my observations and photos inside

Having just returned from our boat show here in Syracuse I can agree with each and every point your make. Lack of access to the front deck without climbing over the upholstery would be a real deal killer for me., along with the price. That said, it was great to visit with the Bennington folks...
