I like the bow gate seat a lot though when I'm underway I tend to move it to it's side position in front of the port side door. I like to have door access to the bow for anchoring and boat handling without having to climb over furniture, and I keep my anchor and line under the port bow corner...

Good for you, Dave! And, so sorry to hear about your loss. My Skipper is passing 19 this year and though he's never been a boat cat, he was a camp cat for many seasons. Enjoy your off season. I put the boat and the Sea Doo up last weekend. We're closing camp a bit early this year so that the campground owner can do some heavy construction that will help in case of another high water event.

The boat that they tested not only had lifting strakes but it also sat on Bennington's elliptical pontoons. All the difference in the world.

I'm sorry to say that I never received a reply to my email. I probably should have tried again but pushed it to a back burner at the time. I still think that they have an interesting product but there are still no dealers near me.

Having just returned from our boat show here in Syracuse I can agree with each and every point your make. Lack of access to the front deck without climbing over the upholstery would be a real deal killer for me., along with the price. That said, it was great to visit with the Bennington folks...
