I just had someone hold a screwdriver on the bolt heads while I crawled underneath and tightened up the nuts on the bottom. No problemo......but I don't have under skinning.
I have a new fish finder that I'm going to install. I am looking for advice on how to run the cable to the helm. I think I can tap into one of the unused rocker switches on the dash for the power. The boat is a 22 SSLX. Any advice would be very much appreciated.
I found it on the Ram mount site. They have a fish finder "wizard" Input the fish finder type and it finds the right mount. The Ram mount looks perfect. Thanks for trying to help............... ;) Too bad it 27 degrees out today.

My radio reception was terrible so I looked under the helm and the antenna wire was coiled up. I unraveled it and ran it around the inside of the helm and the reception improved quite a bit. AM still isn't so great but a big improvement.
Do you know the part number of the Ram mount you have? Or do you have a picture? I'm going to install a Lowrance fishfinder/gps that I got for Christmas, and only get one chance to do it right !
Just my opinion, but I think those 10 20 30 hour service intervals, are nothing but a money grab for the dealer. What service is it that needs to be done after 10 or 20 hours? Check the oil? Change the oil maybe. Do it yourself and save a bunch of money. Theres nothing to it. Save your...
