Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

Same here in North Carolina. I’ve got the regular cover back on mine until the end of pollen season around the end of April and then the Blue Sky cover goes back on. The Blue Sky works great with our covered dock but there are enough gaps in it that the pollen would sneak in and make a mess out...

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

I’ve had good luck with mine. I have a covered dock which gets some rain under it if the wind is blowing hard enough but mostly the cover is there to keep bird and spider droppings out of the boat. It’s not unusual at this time of year for us to get 30+ MPH wind gusts and there hasn’t been any...

Can you tell me what the bracket is? Thanks

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

Too much wind in the afternoon here to have the regular cover flopping around. The Blue Sky is stretched tight so that eliminates the problem. Still working on how to keep the sides tight though.

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

Just the time and effort it takes to put them in. I used to crawl under to put them in but now I put the canvas on from the bow and add the poles as I move backwards. I just do a couple of clips from inside the boat and move to the dock. I have a cable lift so generally clip the rest of them at...

Blue Sky cover - has anyone tried one?

My problem isn’t with the clips but the poles.

    Fuel Funnel?

We live in Westport. We’ve lived here long enough that when we started going there it was Westport Marina before Safe Harbor took them over. Generally had good luck doing business there.

    Fuel Funnel?

You know, that's a good question. It never occurred to me to ask. In any event, we normally gas up at Safe Harbor which is quite a bit closer to us. Plus, now that you mention it, no bridges to go under. Haven't decided who to have service it yet but Safe Harbor took care of our Sweetwater for...

    Fuel Funnel?

Thanks for the tip but we always fill up at the Marina. We don't have a trailer for it so all fueling & service is done there.

    Fuel Funnel?

I'm new here so I'd like to take a minute to thank everyone for helping out with my question about the funnel that came with our boat. It was a really beautiful day out on Lake Norman yesterday and we were out trying to use enough gas so I can find out if I need the funnel when I fill up or not...

    Fuel Funnel?

I’m not new to boating but some of this Bennington stuff IS new to me. Direct fill is just the normal opening? If so, did you need the funnel? I’m going to have the funnel along anyway but I’m hoping to not do something stupid and get gas all over the side of my spanky clean new boat.

    Fuel Funnel?

We tend to stay on this side of the 150 Bridge but I’ve ridden the Dam To Dam jet ski charity ride 5 or 6 times. It goes from the Cowens Ford Dam all the way up to Lookout Shoals so I’ve seen a lot of the lake. Somehow or another however, it always seems like there’s something new to explore...

    Fuel Funnel?

Thanks, we’re looking forward to the new boat. It replaced a Sweetwater Tritoon we’ve had for the last 10 years. The Bennington is a nice step up.

    Fuel Funnel?

For some reason I just assumed you were up the D Channel. My bad. We've actually been boating on Lake Norman since we moved here 15 years ago but never made it to Cocktail Cove. Used to go hang out at the Sandbar but that's pretty much shut down now. Looking at a map it looks like we weren't too...
