    New 2023 Bennington LX Sport

I have the glass window on my LX and it looks really nice. My only complaint is that the corner of the window presses heavily against the cover. I spoke to Bennington about this and they agreed the covers are not designed to fit over the glass windshield and would likely wear through early. They...

    Need new Cover

We just got our boat this year, but I'm seriously considering buying an extra cover and bimini cover from Bennington now so that in 6-7 years when it starts looking faded and not working as well I can just switch it out. I hate to put any more money into at the moment (especially after just...

    SimTex Fabric Issue

I have to admit this topic is stressing me out more than I would have thought when I bought my boat earlier this year. The simtex seating is part of what made me want to buy a Bennington- just feels and looks a bit more luxurious than regular vinyl to me. The dealer also talked about how easy it...

    Gas Prices

I know this has popped up in some other threads, but every time I see gas prices tick up another notch on our lake, it makes me wonder what everyone else is paying and thought a dedicated thread may be fun (in a slightly disturbing way). Currently $7.39 a gallon @ Deep Creek Lake in Maryland...

2022 20LLG - Fuel and Trim Gauges Inaccurate

I am guessing you are right and that this is being covered by warranty.. My dealer is good to work with, but I'm not sure if they would have been so quick/willing to do it without some assistance from Bennington. Out of curiosity I'll check with them when I go in next.

2022 20LLG - Fuel and Trim Gauges Inaccurate

My dealer agreed to make the switch since they could not get the original gauges working correctly. Cost wise, the vee three gauges and the Simrad Go7 are almost the same (at time of order), but I'm sure they will have some costs in parts and obviously labor to switch everything out.

2022 20LLG - Fuel and Trim Gauges Inaccurate

I do worry that the Simrad by itself is not really going to change anything.. but honestly, it seems like our dealer really just isn't familiar with the vee three gauges and does not know how to configure them. They sell many more with the Simrad so they feel confident they can get it set up...

2022 20LLG - Fuel and Trim Gauges Inaccurate

I have a 2022 24LX and have been having issues primarily with the fuel gauge but also at times with trim and even tach. For the fuel gauge, depending on setting, it either flashes between a full reading and zero or it reads at 3/4 when it is full (and then does drop as fuel is used). My dealer...

    Spiders/webs....

On my last boat I would just use the regular bug spray from the big box stores (HomeDefense). I usually applied it to the bimini and the boat cover, sometimes around the edge of the deck as well.. coated it before I put the boat in the water and it typically worked pretty well for the entire...

    Simrad 7

Love the new boat! Looks great. Unfortunately I can't offer any help with the Simrad, but will be watching this thread since the dealer will be replacing my current setup with a Simrad 7 in the coming weeks. I'm sure some others will be able to help as I've seen several other threads with...

    Mooring cover too tight

We've only put our cover on two times so far, but it has gone relatively smoothly - largely thanks to the other posts and tips people on this forum have posted on how to cover and uncover. We do all of our clips, then I crawl through the back and put up the poles, crawl back out and snap the...

    Ceramic on vinyl

Our marina offered a ceramic protection by ServiceGuard for ~$1,500. I was tempted to try it as it covered the interior and exterior, but ended up opting out since it was only for 5 years, I wasn't really clear how this works with maintaining the Bennington warranty, and I'm always afraid that...

Ethanol E15 and is your local gas station making the change?

We always fill up on the lake- Marina's only have ethanol free, but $6.79 a gallon yesterday and they said they expect it to be over $7 by Memorial Day
