I am guessing you are right and that this is being covered by warranty.. My dealer is good to work with, but I'm not sure if they would have been so quick/willing to do it without some assistance from Bennington. Out of curiosity I'll check with them when I go in next.

My dealer agreed to make the switch since they could not get the original gauges working correctly. Cost wise, the vee three gauges and the Simrad Go7 are almost the same (at time of order), but I'm sure they will have some costs in parts and obviously labor to switch everything out.

I do worry that the Simrad by itself is not really going to change anything.. but honestly, it seems like our dealer really just isn't familiar with the vee three gauges and does not know how to configure them. They sell many more with the Simrad so they feel confident they can get it set up...
