    Tri-Toon Trailer Guides

In my case, wind is not the issue. I've loaded other boats in strong winds AND intercostal currents that have and routinely DO drift the TRAILER 90 degrees on the ramp once the boat's weight is off of it. The issue of getting the back of my R25 centered in the bunk cradles is geometry. The...

    Tri-Toon Trailer Guides

It is not too far in the water in my case... 25' and longer boats are a lot more sensitive the shorter ones. I can't power the boat onto the trailer if it isn't in the water enough. Try loading a 25' Tri-toon and you'll see what I mean.

    Tri-Toon Trailer Guides

Can I get some advice on trailer guides for my R25? Every single time I load the boat the back has floated off center. It turns into a complete waste of time and goat rope and I dread it. My uncle has a home made set for his small 20' pontoon and loves them (I can't imagine needing them on a...

    Fall Break in central FL

We made it back home (western TN) from central FL... It was 1650 miles round trip and not a single problem pulling the R25. I had new tires installed and mounted a new spare on the trailer frame and new brakes for the trip. Fair amount of money but piece of mind and now I know what I have (I'm...

    Fall Break in central FL

I didn't see any gas on my Navionics Map except for 2 places that were too close to be beneficial so I ran down to the hardware store and bought three 5 gal. containers, filled them up and strapped them to the rear platform. As it turned out, there were 2 places to get gas along the way that...

    Fall Break in central FL

We always like to cruise the Silver River up to the Silver Springs head in the state park.... There are 3 ways we have done that over the years but the weather was so nice Tuesday, we did the longest option which I have only done a couple of times because it is 80-100 miles round trip depending...

    Fall Break in central FL

I sort of "hijacked" another member's post last week by saying we were trailering the boat to central FL for Fall Break this week and how excited I was to visit my "Happy Place". Well today is day 3 and the weather has been chamber of commerce type and although we haven't had any full boating...

    Last day......

I don't get to keep mine in the water so crocodile tears for you all! :-) My 8th grade daughter gets a Fall Break and we are towing ours to central FL on Saturday for a full week at an AirBB rental on the water with a boathouse. I love the Harris Chain around Mt. Dora and Tavares... My...

    Bennington Trailer and Brakes

Yeah, I can't believe a luxury pontoon boat manufacturer would have their customers have to do that.

    Bennington Trailer and Brakes

I took my trailer to the shop because my surge brakes didn't seem to be working anymore. I want to say that I have never owned a pontoon boat with trailer brakes but I have had half a dozen Ranger Bass boats with surge brakes.. the last one had disc brakes on both axles. Bennington Trailers...

I love Big 10 Basketball and SEC Football. I'm from Indiana and married an LSU girl so that probably explains it!

Not my boat and not even a Bennington but on topic I think.... I saw this on the Tickfaw River over Labor Day Weekend. :0-)

Check in with your cruising speed, RPM, FF and range.

What prop are you spinning with that 350? I flashed the ECU on my 200SHO which is supposed to increase the HP to 300-320. My hope is that I can spin a larger prop that allows me better top end but more importably, let me cruise at a lower RMP while still getting bow lift to get the high lift...
