Thanks all, I think I'll default to 3 a side, can't hurt. Better to have and not need then to need and not have. Expense is fairly negligible.

Awaiting delivery of a new 23' SSR, wondering what the opinions are on the number of fenders recommended. Is three per side necessary or would two per side suffice? The boat will be docked in a well sheltered marina slip with floating dock. Thanks for any advice/recommendations.

Ordered my first Bennington back in February (22 SSR SPS, Mercury 150), should be getting close to delivery...can't wait! Some very helpful and insightful tips and comments in this forum, thank you all, looking forward to being a part of it.
