I thought about ratcheting it down with a strap, but I wasn't sure if this would put too much downward force on it. I'll try the ratchet strap next time I take it out. I just really don't want to break something already on a brand new boat!
btw, my boat does have the trailering position clips...
I have a double bimini on my boat and have noticed that the front bimini seems to "bounce" quite a bit during trailering. I always have the bimini's in the lower "travel" position when we trailer. Will this bouncing cause damage over time? Should I be concerned about this?
