I have an aluminum prop (mercury) that came with the boat, 15 1/2 x 15, and a spare (solas) that is stainless steel with extra cup, they perform at identical numbers speed, rpm. I was hoping for a slight increase in speed, but that didn't happen !

i would feel a lot safer with at least a 3500 lb capacity trailer whenever i'm towing.  the weight of the trailer should only be considered when calculating the gross vehicle weight capacity of your tow vehicle

all of the above + my transom area seems to be bulked up more

or use chapstick that I also use on the canvas snaps.

i use a medium size rubber mallet to gently tap the snap while I take a little pressure off the bimini with my other hand.
