Remediation,
I also use the same dealer, in fact my boat is there now having some service done. They have always treated me very fair. Please keep us posted on how things are worked out.
We will be down Friday afternoon, looking at the temperatures for Saturday not sure we will get the boat out. However, it is fun to bundle up and take a fall boat ride. Maybe we will see you on the water.
We are leaving in a couple hours. Staying in Kendall campground below the dam. Should hit the water tomorrow morning. Hope to see you all there. If you see a black Bennington floating around be sure to stop by and say hello.
I wish one of them had been me but we couldn't make it this weekend. We wont be back down until labor day. Awesome to hear there are so many Benningtons on the Lake Cumberland.
Dang, I thought I had the only pontoon with a 300HP on Lake Cumberland. I will have to get over to Jamestown and check out the one there. :)
spinzone, we also run the west end of the lake hope to meet you someday.
I never noticed how many pontoons are on the lake until we got ours. Our next trip down will be July 27-31. If you all see the black Bennington 2575RLCi running around the west end that would probably be me.
My family has been camping below the dam for the past 15 years. We store the boat and camper at D & G boat storage just a few miles from the dam up 127. This is our first summer with a pontoon, always had a runabout in the past.

Before I purchased my toon I drove a 2575 with the Yamaha 250 SHO and one with the Mercury Verado. I was also concerned about the shaft length. While test driving the Yamaha I thought prop cavitation occurred to much. It happened during top end speed when the motor was trimmed up...
