Tuff Skinz cover sounds interesting.... I noticed the other day that the rear decal on our 3 yr old Yamaha 250 vmax is starting to peel some. I planned on having it replaced when we get it winterized this year, but wondered about a cover of some sort to keep the sun from beating down on it all...
We bought our first Bennington in 2014, a 2575 RFI with a Johnson 90 HP on it. Only 2 toons, but we lived on a 1500 acre lake at the time and didn't need more than that (I thought at the time:cool:). We loved that pontoon, and had it for years. Fast forward to today - we moved from that lake...
We bought a 2018 22 Bennington with a 115 and the express package. Traded it in after two seasons for a SPS with more HP (and a few more feet in length). And Jack is right, the best time to do this is when you initially purchase it.
Great pontoon! I have never seen a powerpole like that mounted on a pontoon. Nice setup for fishing for sure. Back in 2014 we had a 2575RFI Bennington with the fishing setup and loved it!
We bought the ottoman with cooler option for our Bennington (wife uses it for a foot stool), and when I took it down to the pontoon yesterday I noticed that it has 4x threaded inserts on the bottom of it - almost like there should/could be some type of foot screwed in to keep it up off the floor...

We had a 120" wide lift and I couldn't imagine using a narrower one with only a few inches of clearance on each side. I would agree the 120" is the way to go if you can....
This might be a good idea (dealer taking additional pictures), as your original pictures took a little time to find what was wrong on a few of them. I could see a stain and scuff of some sort on the corner of the seat, a longer looking scuff on the toe kick, some scuffs on your console and...
I would definitely be the same way!! Document the things you aren't happy with and work with your dealer. I had a few issues with ours upon delivery and they eventually took care of them all. You are spending alot of $$$ and shouldn't be unhappy with your purchase, and hopefully talking...
As much as I would feel exactly the same way about damage on my brand new pontoon, I have to agree with this approach of repair the best they can and get some incentive for having to live with it. At the end of my first year with our new pontoon, the marina that lifts our pontoons out of the...
