Thank you for your response! The Mercury motor is an EFI. We are thinking it may be a temperature sensor. We will be pulling our boat out of storage next week and hope that we can find the problem.

Our 2003 Bennington with a 50hp Mercury 4-stroke motor runs very well in warm weather but won’t start in cold weather without great difficulty or if the water temperature is cold. We are wondering if the problem might be a temperature gage on the Bennington. Thanks for your help!
