Anything plastic doesn't like amonia. Don't use windex. It will eventually cause spider cracks. There are great stories about Air Force using windex on million dollar canopies and ruining them. I use watered down simple green.
If you don't have underskins, the replacement is very straight forward. My dealer traded me for a taller pedastal he had in stock. Took about 30 minutes to change out. I added 2 inches and it is much better.
I bring my 10 year old boy with me. He is much more limber than I and a great deck hand. I usually hear..."Hey Dad! Ladder's down!" But, I think the boat hook is a cheaper way to go.

Lake Anna was a frequent stop when I was there from 95-98. I loved the 'hot' side. Will living about 5-6 miles north of Belvior. That will be the current option if the backyard thing doesn't work out.

I have a 24 SSL with a 115 Honda 4 stoke. The engine is mounted in the second hole from the top. When I trim out the engine, it really doesn't change anything until the engine starts to come out of the water.
