Only getting 4700 RPM max
Long overdue update! Finally got the boat in to the shop and was told that the air filter was collapsing, keeping it from reaching its potential. They put a new one in and now I’m getting the full 6000 rpm and running 26mph by myself. I’ll play with the props some and see which one works best...- M Butler

Only getting 4700 RPM max
I switched out props yesterday but the storms kept me off of the water. I went from a PowerTech SS 13x14 to a Michigan aluminum 13 5/8x13. Hopefully I’ll get a chance this week to try this one out and I’ll update.- M Butler

It sounds like we have the exact same boat. I’m hopeful that this will solve some of the issues that I am having. I’ve also been told that a bad injector will make you loose the top end without running bad otherwise.- M Butler

I have a new 20’ pontoon with a 90hp Yamaha. Prop is stainless with 13” diameter and 14pitch. At WOT I get 4700 rpm and 15 mph? Any suggestions?- M Butler
