Would Bennington not cover it under warranty? What was the cost to repair?

Thanks. I was just curious. We've had ours for two years, but this is the first time anything like this has ever happened. Like I said though, we don't run it open either. I'm just very disappointed in the lack of response, or response time, since we can't use it at night without the stern...

Can you tell me if you ever got any resolution from Bennington? Ours just broke as well but we weren't going anywhere near 30 mph. I'd be surprised if we were doing 20! I can't get much response from Bennington either, and have been in contact with two dealers and a rep from customer service...

I would think so as well, and I've seen other threads on here about the same issue but at high speeds. We had to have only been going 20 mph. Frustrating that it's taking so long to get anyone to respond. I expected more for the price point on these boats.

I'm very interested in this thread as our bimini top came crashing down on a passenger a few weeks ago. Both arms, on both sides, completely sheared in half. Looks as if the frame may have been weakened by the holes that were drilled for the wiring as it broke in the same spot on both sides...
