Ths may be a goofy question, but I'll put it out there anyway. When I bought my 2012 20SLI it came with a 2012 Merc 75. The dealer told me that the engine was the same as the Merc 90 and 115, but that it was 'de-tuned' down to 75. If this is the case, is it possible to 'up-tune' it to the 90 or...

I just thought that I would close the loop on this post. I went ahead and purchased a Garmin Echo 100. It cost $79 to purchase and $140 to install and it works like a champ. Depth is right on and the temp is accurate. I don't care about the fish finder capability, so this suited my problem...

I'm not sure about the rail. I have had my 2012 20 SLI since September 3. I got the Merc 75. Dealer said it was the biggest motor I could get on this boat. 2k option, buy no regrets....mk

Hey Frank... The boat was shadowed on a 2009 Kawasaki Ultra 250. As far as I can tell, the speedo is spot on. We are running with the 25" tubes. I'm not sure of the prop size, but heading up tonight and can advise tomorrow. I will also look and see what were are revving at at WOT. As far as the...
