I am very familiar with mercury, outboards, and the accompanying shifting. It’s very smooth, without any hint of “grinding“ gears. On my new/old boat, my technician told me that Yamaha “grinding” was commonplace. Seems odd, but I’m not a mechanic. Any thoughts? Thanks

I have a 2015 2575 RCWL that needs a new fuel cap. The bright, shiny ones are $85, and the plastic ones are in the $30 range. Are fuel caps generic in size or does Bennington use some proprietary configuration? Thanks in advance.
