Won’t work. My stern light is not a pole that inserts into the hole. The bottom is what is pictured in my original post. Just looking for that circle “cinch” part that screws into the pole.
Or if someone can reference me the exact pole assembly. Bennington item number 017617. I can’t fit it...

my outboard is a Mercury, not a Yamaha. not sure if the little plastic cover is there or not. I will check it out tomorrow when I get to he boat.
