give it a few days. the acid takes the oxidized layer off. It reappears a few days after cleaning and turns the toons a touch more silver than white. I've been using the Napa MAC Aluminum brightener a few time a year for 7 years now.
Docked in a dirty river and my top speed drops for 38 Mph to...
Simtex upgrade is a must for me.
Also have you searched for similar boats in stock at dealers in your state. Most deliver for $150 flat fee. When I bought my boat I had settled on the 20 SLV because of price. Due to delays in delivery. I started looking at in stock in my state. I found a 20 SLM...
I just finished doing mine. I didn't go with color changing lights. I had a left over 5M spool of blue LED's. I used them for under the seats. Instead of Led strip for underdeck Light I used 12v 1/2" led rope light. I used this rope light to light the inside of my pool (off grid solar system to...
Ok guys I think it's trim. and I think my trim gauge is not accurate. I usually run at 1/4 trim (on the gauge). Last night I noticed alot of "slack" between when I trim and the gauge reading. So I tried a run at 0, 6000 RPMS. So now I will just trim up until the bow lifts, not to 1/4 on the...
I also tested in calm (glass waters) this is a trioon. It doesn't hit rev limiter or cut spark but over rev light flashes. I trim up just until bow raises and then the gauge shows 1/4 on trim gauge
My eyes arent the greatest and taking a picture while on the water is a fun challenge. Anyone want to help figure out what it says only thing I can make out for sure is that it's a 17p
Boat is a 20' SLM SPS with a Suzuki 115. With full tank of gas and 2 passengers. Tach shows 6400 RPM, the over rev light on the engine monitoring gauge flashes.
During my 1st long hard WOT run (about 20 minutes) in chop I got beeping and the engine dropped power and seemed to sputter until I...
Just for reference 20' S model Tritoon, 115 HP 2 passengers, full tank gas, into a 3.9 mph current. I got 34.8mph for my 1st WOT at 6100 Rpm. 2nd time I got 35.5mph (gps)
Break in on the motor is over. That also means I'm half way to 20 hour service. All my shore list has been completed.
Got docking down better with her today. Also took her out on the St Clair river. 34.81 MPH against the current with my wife and I on board. Pretty impressed.
Long day. Woke up too excited to sleep at 3:50 am, left the house at 7:45 am, got to the dealer at 11:45 am they said boats not ready and service guys are at lunch. So I went to eat. About 15 minutes later I get the call from the salesman that we had a miss communication and they had moved the...
Do you need the ability to lower the boat to the ground? If so you will need a crank up. But be warned they are way more expensive for a tritoon. if you don't a floaton/bunk style is the way to go.
