Thanks, Michiman. I misspoke when I said free turning. I meant it wasn't bound up, as in it felt like normal movement.

I haven't used our 2012, 2250 GL pontoon for quite a while, but the grandkids have had it out a couple of times. We got on it tonight to find that the captain's chair is fully reclined, and I can't get it to return to a more upright position. The lever is free-moving but the seat back won't...
