    New Fiberglass QX bumper suggestions

Beautiful boat. Use the search box at the top to search for bumpers or fenders. There have been quite a few discussions about the fenders and how to hang them. I use “TaylorMade” clips to hang mine and am very satisfied with them - NEVER have had any come off and are easy to move if you need to...

    Trailer benefits?

I’ve been sharing my neighbor’s scissor trailer. Neither of us travels to other lakes (but have it to use if really needed) and we are only a mile from the launch. I let him store the trailer on my property during the year. I found someone this past year who picks it up from my dock, Winterizes...

    Fender Hanger Solution

We don’t have blackout package and ours sits in the water at the dock - not on a lift. Have had NO issues with the Taylor made clips moving, sliding or scratch marks on the rails.

Used Bennington G Series - better than new?

Of course, you did trade it for year round boating. We do like the winter too and the seasons. I’m not a Florida guy at all.

    Cruising too slow?

Decide what you want (and budget) and are going to do with the boat. I have a 50 hp on a 400 acre lake. We’ve had it for 8 seasons with still no intention to sell or “upgrade”. Enjoying every minute of it. We don’t travel to other lakes - just generally slow cruises with snacks or lunch on...

    Fenders and Thoughts

Clips are attached to the fenders with the rope and I clip them on and off as a unit if I need to move or remove them.

    Shallow Channel Access

I have the alarm on my depth finder set to go off at 2 feet - it frequently goes off unless I manage to stay centered. Skeg would drag in the mostly sand bottom most seasons (there is silt also) if I don’t trim it up. The channel is less than 40 feet wide - mostly very shallow. Usually between...

    Shallow Channel Access

I agree. We have one shallow channel (shorter distance though) to an attached lake and have also never had a problem.

    Fenders and Thoughts

I have only used Taylor made clips for 8 seasons we have owned our pontoon. They are easy to use or move and have NEVER had one crack, break or pop off. We VERY seldom raft up and are on a small (400 acre) lake if that makes any difference to you. Usually just my wife and I on a slow cruise and...

Bennington boats for sale in Australia.....

The link didn’t work as written even when cut and pasted. I noticed an extra “s” at the beginning of the link. When I pasted it and deleted out one “s” it works. Interesting post. I realize the shipping quoted increases price but still seems excessive! Corrected link - you might have to cut...

    Photos!

I’m not a Florida person at all, but it would be nice to have a longer boating season. We still love all the seasons though- even winter - and the kids and grandkids are here. Don’t snowmobile any more but still snowshoe and a bit of cross country skiing. Really like to be able to visit all the...
