Yes, Toonrails lift by the deck.. but if you are getting a large gas tank in the center toon (mine will be 73 gallons, 440 pounds) Bennington even recommended supporting with bunks for the toons. Hoist and trailer.

Thanks for the info and advice. Lake Margareth has a small damn that is controlled with boards to lower water for winter, and raise in the Summer. So it is controlled some, but a hot dry summer can drop our levels which would be my concern. How deep was your water to make your Nucraft hoist...

Very flat, sandy bottom..

This is the kind of stack up I'm looking at with the hoist having it's feet off, and if I can get my bunks a little flatter that would help my float over depth needed and avoid lifting on my strakes. ???

How shallow did your water get?

My dock section's water marks show 26" to 28"... I will be removing the feet on my hoist to gain a couple inches.

I've studied these also and like them, but my Bennington Rep said since I will have a 73 gallon (460 lbs) gas center toon I should try and lift from the toons. Thanks!

Good info..I was thinking of maybe a hybrid of the 2 systems, a couple tall outside guides (110" width compared to my 102" width front tapered deck/Rub rail, my boat will be riding high in the front, and by then the center PVC's should guide me in.
