Gas Tank NOT VENTING on 2016 2372 Q

Check (with your dealer?) to make sure the check valves at the top of the carbon canister aren't installed or plumbed backwards and that all vent tubing is clear/unblocked. Since your canister checks out, not sure what else there would be to prevent proper venting.

    Curved Bimini Vrs Standard?

David G, are you asking about the standard straight bimini vs. the curved bimini (manual, not powered) or are you asking about the power bimini?

Trailering: bow against bumpers or is a gap OK?

I'm not sure it matters for your setup, from what I'm hearing. If your weight distribution/tongue weight is good with the gap and it doesn't move, I'd just keep doing what you are doing. Ours also has that gap too after we load and I eliminate it with a quick brake check in the parking lot. The...

This came with our new Bennington...what is it?

Over the rub rail, in alignment with where the rub rail would hit your trailer bunk stops. It protects the rub rail from rubbing up against those stops and if you have a cover that extends down the front, covering the front deck, it gives you space to install the cover. If you don't have a...

    Trailer advice.

We added a couple new SS tie eyes under the front deck, next to the center toon on each side, along with a pair of BoatBuckles and the optional BoatBuckle mounting brackets on the trailer. Works real slick and no separate ratchet strap to mess with.

Gas Tank NOT VENTING on 2016 2372 Q

Had this exact same problem and resolution on our 2015 last year. A quick and simple fix.

Another ESP Center Toon Bilge thread

I believe there is another bulkhead just in front of the fuel tank that you cannot see. As a test, raise the bow to see if the water does drain all the way to the back to the bilge pump (it might be slow). If not, the dealer needs to correct. If so, it is fine but store your boat with the bow...

    Straight Bimini vs Curved Bimini

I believe the straight is slightly longer but I think the looks of the curved makes up for that. Due to the shape, the curved gives a slightly lower overall height when in the 'trailer' position as well.

    Coming from a Premier PTX

It looks like Bennington has released a new ski tow option for the SPS plus. This prevents the need to do the turbo swing on SPS plus. It looks much better than the old tow bar but interesting that it includes a sticker for 500lbs max and for waterskiing only.

    Coming from a Premier PTX

If you do watersports and are considering the SPS plus, make sure you confirm your ski tow/pylon options because (at least when it first came out), the only ski tow option on an SPS plus was a turbo swing. I understood this was because the center toon wasn't capable of the pylon mount that the...

Yamaha 250 Vmax SHO analog gauges vs digital...

I've seen Yamaha brand 'x' boats at the shows with SHO motors rigged to the display screens but of course, not under power, so not sure which parameters are all available. Has anyone here hooked up their SHO to a NMEA display?

    I have a build date/week also !!!!

I didn't realize that. I thought 8 1/2' was the standard max without permit. Do you hope to extend the axle width to make this work? Torsion spring axles may help you lower the height as well (wish we had them).

Fuel Venting Issue (causing incorrect fuel reading & motor to shut off)

Thanks for following up Little-B. Since the vent line cap/screen appears common to several recent years, it will be interesting to hear if others are having any issues with gumming up/debris or water intrusion due to placement - or if ours are just isolated incidents.

Fuel Venting Issue (causing incorrect fuel reading & motor to shut off)

Little-B, can you confirm that your 2018 still has the same vent line cap and fine mesh screen that ours has? I'm curious if this is still the current design or if improvements have since been implemented. Also, from your indication of water intrusion through this vent, guessing you don't have...
