To all the 150HP owners. We ordered a 22 SPS with a Merc 4 stroke 150. With one person in the boat, can an adult weighing 150 get up on a slalom ski? Thanks for the input.

Yes.

Shouldn’t be an issue!

Thank you BWSDJ. THAT was EXACTLY what I needed to see.

Also, the boat in the video is a 24’. With your 22’ you should be a little lighter, and have more hp per lbs of boat...so a little more hole shot capability with the right prop.

P.S. We have a 200 Mercury V-pro on our Bennington. You’ll love it! Quiet and powerful.

Yes! But to be safe and within the law in most places you will need at least 2 people in the boat..........The driver AND an observer.

In the early 1990's, I was able to get up on one (wooden) ski behind my original pontoon -- a 24 foot Sylvan with a 60 HP Tohatsu. You just have to be able to hold your breath for a while. :-)

Outabounds68,
I don’t have a pic, but my son and I have double skied behind our 22’ SCWX with a 150 Yamaha. Four adults and two kids aboard the Tritoon. Absolutely no problem. We both weigh around 200 lbs.
