Hey Bill. Just saw MSU snagged UND quarterback Tommy Schuster. Right now he’s predicted to be backup to our other portal QB acquisition, 5 star Chiles from Oregon State. Jonathon Smith since getting hired as our new coach has been really starting to build up the team in the aftermath of the hot mess we witnessed recently.

What do you think about Schuster? Great stats, but unfamiliar with him. Think he’ll give Chiles a run for his money for the starting spot, or even get it himself? Does Schuster just have 1 year of eligibility left, or 2? Spartan nation has been ecstatic about landing 5 star Chiles from Oregon State, but Schuster also seems like a great acquisition. What are your thoughts on this guy?

He's a good FCS QB
He'll be a capable back-up. If an injury puts him at QB1, he won't win you many B1G games.

Aiden Bouman USD (ok, not better than Schuster, but has potential)

UofM will need to ante up quite a bit in order to keep him but, with next year's opponent lineup that will surely lead to a pretty dismal W/L record, Harbaugh may bolt on this high note...
