Nice game against Bama! We’re enjoying the BigTen bowl games! Looking forward to todays playoff lineup!

OSU looks like they are on a mission. I loved the Oregon Duck coach say, Everyone has a off day. We had one today against OSU and they had one against Michigan. Sadly, I hate OSU so much but I think they are the team to beat.

ND took down Georgia. So the top 4 teams are gone. Its #5 Texas vs #8 OSU. #7 ND vs #8 PSU. Seems like a very odd thing to have#1 through #4 gone.

I think ND has the only chance to take down OSU. We shall see

Right now it looks like OSU & ND are playing the best football at the right time.

It is interesting on seeding. 1-4 out, and 9-12 out. Home team advantage in first round are the teams left in it. Kinda crazy how it all panned out. Fluke? Or something about hosting first round with an extra home game and approx 2 week gaps between playing for prep and healing? Who knows. I

dispise both ND and OSU, but they are playing very dominate football in key phases of the game. It’s certainly one of the matchup I’d love to watch if the National Championship was played today given the last 2 games played. The other or course would be a BigTen only showdown between OSU and PSU. PSU has also been looking their best in these past two games.

Of course, my playoff brackets are blown up at this point, but oh well. Enjoying the games.

Always nice to be back on top. Congrats to NDSU!!!
Thanks Jeff.

One would think 10 Championships in 14 years would prompt an invite from a FBS conference, but nobody wants them because their media footprint is too small. I'm not sure about that though. Monday's game had 2.4M avg views (3.1M peak). I think the Bison have garnered more fans than just Fargo ND LOL.

I don’t even want to consider what the “powers that be” consider with all this conference realignment let alone a move up into FBS. Honestly, aside from viewership many are probably as (or more) focused on recruiting footprint.

Without a strong recruiting footprint option, mixed with regular season viewership (which is likely out of any non-FBS teams control), I don’t see FBS conferences looking to add them. The “bean counters” probably don’t see a financial/recruitment up side.

Obviously, based on record over time, it should be a no-brainer. Geography was probably helpful in this regard for say JMU when they moved up to FBS vs the predicament geographically/population that NDSU finds itself in.

Yeah, take teams like MO St whom NDSU has absolutely owned, they get an invite and the Bison just sit and watch their peers move up while they remain in FCS Purgatory. Our OOC games are no fun because nobody wants to schedule us.

I've said it all year.....The Detroit Lions was the cream of the NFC! They just couldn't stop my Redskins tonight! They'll always be the Redskins to me!

All our injuries finally caught up with us - particularly on the defensive side of the ball. 18 IR yesterday. Ugh! And the turnovers yesterday were gut punches. A very tough loss for everyone up here in the Mitten State. Commanders came into the D and put on a show. Really lived up to their hype as of recent.

However, a huge congratulations to the Lions. It was an incredible 2 seasons for us, and in particular, this season. Love our Lions!

Still struggling with the Lions loss. I get all the injuries hurt them all season long, but we got to where we were at with all of those in hand. And we even got Montgomery back.

Personally, I think the D played well enough to win that game. Yeah they gave up 45 but 7 of those were from a pick 6. The 5 turnovers is what sunk this team. 4 of the 5 were on Goff alone with a pick 6 and another int in the end zone late in the game.

All 3 NFC North teams that made the playoffs (GB, Minn, and Det) got beat in the first round and 2 of those got beat badly. Minnesota goes 14-3 and loses to a 10-7 team. Lions go 15-2 and get beat by a 12-5 team. Makes you wonder about the NFC north?

It was a great season by the Lions and sadly they shit the bed in the most crucial game of the year. Hopefully they make it back next year, but its not going to be easy. I think a few of the key coaches will be gone (Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn) and Goff is not getting younger. Plus you have a slew of key players that are unrestricted free agents now. Skipper, Zeitler, Davis, etc

If you look at today's modern NFL teams, the ones with the most success are with running QB's. Allen, Mahomes, Jackson, Daniels, and Hurts. That is not a strength of Goff at all.

Hopefully Homes will have another fantastic draft and get them back.

Have you seen the Lions schedule for 25 ?
