I'll spare you the graphic details on our latest South Dakota PD hunt this past week, but I would like to share my son and I becoming the newest 1000yd steel target marksman with a 6.5 creedmoor rifle. My son pic is hitting steel with a 223 Wylde at 750yd before he switched to my 6.5 CM

So, how many dogs did you dispatch?

Not as many as the first time we went in 2022, but best guess is about an average of 50 dogs per shooter (approx. 250 for the 2 days of hunting)
This being our second time around, I will say our overall shot count per dog harvested was much lower then our first trip. We learned something's and made adjustments to equipment and tactics this time, which made it more efficient.
