2575 QCW w/ Yamaha 300 speeds

Who is running a Yamaha300? What speeds, rpm, and size of prop please. I just bought one and it came from the dealer with a 15 1/4 x 18 and Performance Bulletin on Yamaha shows a 15 1/2 x 17? After 2 hours on the engine wot is 43 mph @5000rpm... I know I am over propped but I may need a 15 or 16 if I follow the 200 rpm per pitch change rule.

I have a 15.5X17 on my 2550RSR with the F300. Top speed for me so far has been 44mph @ 5800 RPM with two adults.

This may not be apples to apples, but with 2550 GSR and a merc verado 300, using an enertia 16, I am getting 47-48 mph with four people and full gas tank. RPM is 6000.
