25th Annual Desert Storm - 200 mph boats

So Lake Havasu is home to this annual event where we get to see "boats" hit 200mph or more - personally a little crazy for me as they all fly down the lake side by side with helicopters chasing them, but there are a whole lot of people that LOVE this week long celebration with music, concerts, exhibits, etc. Well last year TriToons were represented by a dual 450 model that hit 80mph! I particularly liked this picture by ArnadoPhotography.com

Looks like great fun! However, I’d personally never want to travel 80 MPH on a tri-toon.

Don't know how that boat would stay afloat. They weigh over 1200 lbs. a piece!

Use a Milk Truck for toon s .

If they can hang multiple's on a conventional hull someone will figure out how to hang them on a pontoon, give them some time . It wasn't long ago no one thought about twin 450's .

Very cool. I've gotten to know some go fast boaters through a poker run here on our lake. And I've gotten a few 100 MPH plus rides. It is so odd to see twin outboards on a (I'm guessing) 48 foot MTI and the red and black beauty with no name visible. Outboards have sure come a long way in the last 10 years.
