2nd Bimini Top Add on

Does anyone know what the reasoning is for not having the 2nd bimini top as an option on the "Q" model?

I asked my dealer to get me a price for the 2nd top and their response was it is not an option offered but they will sell the parts/pieces and then I have to get it fabricated/installed by a canvas shop. I see Geewest has had it done by someone and sent him an PM. I was quoted $1675 pus shipping which seems pretty steep for just the parts. Others have stated it was around a $1k. Does anyone have first hand knowledge on the pricing?

Justin, That sounds weird, My 2nd Bimin was a factory order. It was installed at the factory. Its a option in the build a boat menu

under Double Bimini. Sorry for the slow reply was at the lake for 10 days

I was told that a second bimini was not an option on our 2012 22 SSI, but the dealer said they could add it after delivery. They ordered the material and parts from Bennington and had a local canvass shop install it. I was quoted $1000, The real cost was $670.00. Looks just like the factory one!
