7 year Merc extended warranty.

Hey everyone..


My new Bennington shipped out on Monday and I should be receiving it early next week. 


My question is about price on the extended warranty for my Merc 150. 


Standard is 3 years and I was given the 5 year for free in negotiations, only because Manitou offered that first. The 5 year has some limitations though, and I'm considering the 7 year option. It coveres everything, like the standard 3 year does.


I forget exactly, but they offered it to me at $1,7XX. 


Is that a good price? Or can I do better?

In May of 2014 ,I paid under $700 for the 7 Platinum  on a 150 .Mercury was having a promotion at the time

Dang, prices are all over the place on that thread. Seems $1,700 is towards the lower end of the spectrum but not as low as Jack at $700 (who got a promotional price)
