Have heated and cooled cupholders on my Mercedes. Totally worthless because drinks are almost always in insulated cups. The insulation obviously works in both directions. They are really ineffective even with uninsulated cups.
Drinks on our boat are 100% of the time in koozies.
I have a Helm pocket , but its not on the door its next to my seat . My helm door has storage space ,I keep my flare gun in it .
I have no clue about the lighting . Perhaps someone else will respond .
Have you checked with dealer ?
Not yet – I don’t plan on buying until later this year and I want to avoid him calling me 50 times. So I’m guessing that pocket door slides across so there’s no gap under the windshield between the two seats, and the only use I can think of is to stop wind from coming underneath maybe (?)
I ordered my current new style QCW in August of 21 and it didn't arrive until the end of May 22. It was 1 of the first 3 they built of the new style for the public .
I wonder how much of that (long of a delay) was driven by COVID supply disruptions hangover? That is definitely longer than I thought - 9 months is crazy. That must mean they just shut down production for a period of months in the winter. I was assuming if I ordered one in Nov or Dec, I'd have it by ~ April - but maybe that's not accurate.
And out of curiosity, what % of the purchase price did you have to put down? I'm assuming it's something down and then the balance when you take delivery...
Nothing down . The dealer is/was a personal friend . He sold the business a few months later .
I don't think covid was any of the problem . They had the dealer meeting in August about a week prior to me placing my order and things were normal .Only thing different was hand sanitizer stations.
If you have a dealer in mind , I would start talking to him . Tell him you aren't quite ready and he may be able to give you a time frame . Unless things have changed Bennington will wait for a full load to a dealer before they ship .
