Aftermarket extended aft decks / platforms

Their site shows only I/O installations, no outboards.

I shot them a note asking about the mini-decks (see pic) to see if they'd work for outboards. (minus the center platform of course.

My concern would be voiding the warranty for an extra 2 -4 sq ft of space

Is that something you could send back to Bennington in the off season and have them install? I put the extra 6" upfront to cover the toons and the full finish in the back and wouldn't know how to act without it. If Bennington does it you'd still be covered for warranty and could probably get matching floor finish etc. Just a thought!

Probably not... I asked for it to be added the day before it was built. The dealer said no.

What Warranty? I would think any warranty would be from a part that had direct contact with the parts in question. Example they are not going to honor a ripped vinyl because you put a swim deck on.

The way they attach the. Looks very solid and IMO you will have no issues

My concern would be that they look less than substantial, and rather "aftermarketie". Does that word sound better than cheap?

^^^ I get what your saying but what are your options? If you orderd a boat with out a extended deck any you Now want one not to many options. I'm sure you could clad or cover the new surface with teak and that would look awesome

I guess I'd put that on my want list for the next, upgraded boat. Mine isn't as expensive as many on here, but I wouldn't even add those to mine. No offense mean to anyone, but that's like putting curb finders on a Mercedes SL450.

And dice hanging from the mirror.
