Does anyone know where to find rubber or vinyl covered Aluminum Planks for a cradle as shown? I'd use wood, but too heavy. (4K lift) Thanks John

Any good welding shop can make them for you. They can get various sizes of aluminum tubing. Eg. 1.5 “ square tubing in 20’ lengths. Have them stitch (weld) 2 or 3 together to make an aluminum plank. Cover with vinyl runner material available from your local hardware store/Home Depot/Amazon. Fasten on the underside with self tapping aluminum screws.

If you google search there are companies that sell extruded alum plank. Markstarr, 6” a 2” x 11’, $90. Other sizes available, other vendors as well.
Cover with plastic yourself.

Those are my aluminum pontoon bunks that I temporarily installed on a neighbor’s lift while my new dock and lift were being built. They are from Fix Marine in Cape Coral Florida. The bunks were included in my dock and lift package. I’m very happy with them.

I see them on Fix website I think.. This?
"ALUMINUM WALKBOARD 10 IN X 12 FT" ?
And would the 12' length be ok for 21' logs? Really appreciate the info!
Bennington has not been very helpful. Thx! John

Go to this website for details on the pontoon bunks. I will measure mine when it stops raining.
