Had an issue with my waverunner last year, would find my battery dead after a week of no use. This season I replaced the battery, and also added this auto switch. You can use the fob to open the circuit (like a rotary battery switch) or leave the circuit closed, and it will automatically open if the voltage drops down to a certain level. Put one in my boat as well. Haven’t “tested” the boat one yet, but have had multiple times when I get on the waverunner and it won’t start because the battery circuit has been automatically opened.
Maybe another means to prevent draining the battery at the sandbar?
