Be safe!!!

Well…with my boat probably down for the summer, no worries in this regard for us. For everyone else, be safe out there.

It's 50 degrees and raining here BigK, not exactly drinking weather. But I can guarantee 1 in 3 boaters will still not know how to back the trailer at the ramp causing a massive line.

I heard that it was pouring up there! My son is up from Atlanta visiting friends in Woodbridge and DC this weekend......

We got hammered yesterday evening with severe T storms rolling through. Today the backside of the cold front made it through so the temps plummeted 30 degrees but still raining on and off. Makes it tough to BBQ, but on a positive note it shut those damn cicadas up!

Water temps are in the 70's so the fish will still be biting at least. And for your son some of this weather will hopefully keep the cars off 95, it's even more of a parking lot these days than you probably remember.

That sailboat has some excellent flotation...nice of them to give those other folks a lift.

RecTeq ready to work tonight at the lake. Great start for the weekend. Didn’t even take the boat out today. Amateur hour out there. That’s why I have a wave runner

Yup, we generally avoid busy weekends unless we have visitors. I know there are lots of retired people here, but it's surprising how few come out on week days...works for us!

Same thing happened to us today. Poured buckets then the temp dropped 25 degrees. We were up there last weekend. Well aware of 95. Took my handicapped nephew to the Nationals game on Saturday against the Orioles. (Swept them!) When we got to Fredericksburg on Friday we heard there were 2 accidents on 95 leading up to the Woodrow Wilson bridge so we took 301 instead. Left my sister's house in Maryland about 7am on Sunday morning to beat all the southbound traffic to get back to Carolina....

Beautiful weather here but my wife has me working on house projects. I’ll let the weekend warriors tear it up on the water this weekend.

OK, two comments: That sailboat has some excellent flotation...nice of them to give those other folks a lift. Next, the ramp sighting does make sense if you consider the window sticker.
Just noticed that! Not meant to be political at all, purely accidental... boating should be an agnostic affair.

And Memorial Day should be about family, friends and remembering those who have given their lives to this country. I have close family buried in Arlington, Quantico and West Point so I'll be toasting them and their sacrifices across 4 wars. And cheers to any of you that have done the same! Thank you!

I'm in Fox Lake IL, busiest waterway in the US. I also have a slip 4 down from one of the busiest launches on the chain. I could sit on my toon for hours watching the sh!t show go down. Cant wait till tomorrow! :p
