Bee careful when you open your seats.

We haven't used the boat in a while so was cleaning it for company today. When I opened the front port seat I was greeted by angry yellow jackets. I sprayed them and then had to clean all the life jackets and seat. Got stung on my ear also, they were pissed.

YIKES! That’s an unpleasant surprise and bee sting. Glad you were cleaning it and found them before getting under way with company. Can you imagine getting out on the water and stirring them up with company on board?

I have never seen a yellow jacket’s nest before. I always run into them in holes in the ground. Must say it is pretty cool, but for sure wouldn’t want to run into it.

Cwag, if you could have seen me on the boat the other day after seeing your photo! Hadn't opened a side seat in awhile....on my knees, telling my wife to stand back as I'm peaking in to see if anything flying around in the middle of the lake. She thought I had lost my mind
