I'm ready to start trailering my boat.  I've got a 2012 24 SSL with the SPS.  I'm looking for the attachment point for the trailer winch strap to the boat, and the only thing I'm seeing are the three eyelets at the nose of the pontoons.  Is this where I'm supposed to connect the winch strap to (the center pontoon)?  I thought I read somewhere that you're NOT supposed to do that.  I don't see any other place to attach the winch strap to.

Can somebody help me out here?  Thanks!

On my Benny there is a hook on or above center toon. It is  On the frame member. You have to reach under to feel it of see it. Should be right above center tube

That's where mine is as well.

I have used the eyelet on the center pontoon to attach my winch strap from the trailer for 8 years now.......There is no other way to attach it.

I use the tube hoop for the winch and the added loop for the safety cable. The loops are fine for pulling on the trailer, they are not used to lift the boat.

I got a better look at the underside of the boat - and there it is.  There's an eyelet tied to the first cross-beam, dead-center, 12" aft of the bow, up above the center pontoon.  I'll load/unload it using the pontoon nose eyelet, but will see about strapping a safety strap to the cross-beam eyelet.

Looked under our boat while we were in the water the other day and there was no eyelet or bracket over the center toon. The eyelet on the toon is our only option for attaching the winch strap......

Mine's the same way, It may be because I had them extend the underskin all the way to the bow, which was not standard on mine. Or, perhaps ESP's just don't have the loop, dunno.

I don't recall seeing the hoop on mine either. I'll have to take a closer look

I have the loop but don't have under skinning that might hide it otherwise.

I've got no such eye under there. As you can see (I hope) from the photo, there is a piece of aluminum bolted to the curved bow piece and the middle tube, right above the eye, effectively tying everything together.

Can't see how this wouldn't work to winch from. As you can see, I do.

If you can, go back to the first cross-stringer.  This will be about 12" back from the bow.  On that cross-stringer I'm mentioning is where the eyelet that I'm referring to is, right in the middle of that stringer.

I'm starting to wonder if the one I have may be a leftover from when I had the original elliptical pontoons on the boat.

I'm out of town right now, so can't get you anymore details.  Thanks for taking the time to look at that!
