Hello again. This forum has been very useful to me as a rookie and I have another question for the group . . .

I need to replace the Bimini Top on my 2003 207FS. I'm discovering that any online sources for the fabric only sell fabric to fit the frames they sell. So I'd have to buy a new frame to go with the fabric top [$550 total for fabric & frame]. A local shop charges $800 for top & boot and Bennington is $729; both of which would fit the existing frame.

So. Is it easy to replace a Bimini Top Frame? Will it mean drilling different holes along the railing, etc? Or is it best to use the existing frame for as long as possible?

One option would be to buy an aftermarket fabric from a retailer with a good return policy and see if it fits. Option 2 would be to shop around for a custom canvas shop that has a better price. I would stick with the bennington frame, I think it has a lifetime warranty.
