We have a 2013 2250 RSR we purchased new. It appears our cover is disintegrating can almost pull it apart by hand. Can we purchase a new one from Bennington direct ? I seem to be having a problem finding one after market.

You're boat should be under the warranty and your dealer should get you a new cover. We had ours replaced at close to 5 years old for fading. The warranty is bow to stern.

Mine was replaced this season ,also disintegrating .It had actually turned the stitching on the seats red .Glad I had the seats  treated .Came right out .

What kind of fabric are the new covers made with?!? Disintegrating after 3 yrs?!? Unreal!

My red cover started shedding red dust at the end of year 2.  We saw it on the seats and it got on our clothes as we were rolling the cover off and on.  Bennington replaced it under warranty.

On the one hand, it's nice to know that Bennington stands behind their product. On the other, it makes me wish I didn't hear of such complaints. After seven years, it could get quite expensive!

Small thread highjack. The cover poles on the 2015 have a swing latch tightener to adjust the pole height.  We need to tighten the screws to make them more snug.  The screw head is something really different.  Nothing I have will fit.  It is not a hex or allen or torx.  I called Tumac covers.  The answer was it was a hex.  I asked for the size.  The answer I got was nothing we have fits it.  Does anybody know what fits that screw head?

Remember it could be either sae or metric. From the car business I have both and they're not interchangeable.

Bummer all those having issues with their covers. I wonder if it is tied to certain colors. My blue one seems to be holding up. Granted, it is under a covered lift all the time.

Mine is a Torx ," I Think " a T15 . I got a set of 7 torx ( T10 thru T30 craftsman  )  a while back $10.00

After reading this thread. I'm really happy that my dealers canvas shop made a new Sharkskin cover for my boat instead of the factory cover. It's completely waterproof and does really well in high winds.

I also had the same issue on my tan 2012 cover. It just fell apart, it was replaced no charge. But now my Bimini boot is doing the same thing, waiting to hear back from dealer to see if they will replace that.
