Anyone know if the switch rockers just snap off, or is there a trick to taking them off?

One broke the other day, and while I wait to get a new one, I want to temporarily replace it with the rocker from another switch I don't ever use, but I don't want to break that one too.  You can't operate the switch without the rocker in place, and it's my "house" switch (radio, lights, plugs, etc).

Anyone know if there's a trick to popping these off?  Or do you just pull it straight off?

You have to get to the back side and press the tabs at the top and bottom towards the body of the switch to release the whole switch.

I don't think they where made to have just the rocker come off, but you could try a small flat blade on each side at the pivot point.

I think you guys just saved me from breaking another switch...

I'll just swap out the whole switch with one that's not being used, and then see about getting a replacement from the dealer.

Thanks!!!

That is, unless someone else has taken the rocker off...
